Nsukka is not a state, so it does not have a governor. It is a town and Local Government Area (LGA) within Enugu State, Nigeria. The person who governs Nsukka directly is the Local Government Chairman, currently Jude Chinedu Asogwa .

The Governor of Enugu State, who oversees the entire state including Nsukka, is Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah
