I feel the RELIGIOUS institutions has contributed so much to the ignorance death of many people especially here in Nigeria.
I have a HIV patient that I have been managing for 2 years now, follow him up, making sure he comes for refill of medication and goes to lab to always determine his viral load. He was doing so good that the last time he brought his label results it was saying HIV negative, I explained to him that is because of his consistency in his ARV and that he should continue taking it. Early this year he stopped coming for medication refill, I reached out to him and he told me he went to a church program and after the MAN OF GOD prayed for him he became healed Permanently, all my efforts to convince him otherwise failed. Fast forward to this morning, I got a news that he has died 😭😭. He died because he stopped taking his medication as was advised by the so called Man of God.
