Respectfully if Nigeria had good governance for decades, strong opposition, and real opportunities, Nigerians wouldn’t feel pressured to leave Nigeria these are issues that have been for decades economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and weak public services. Nigerians demand desire for accountable leadership that uses the country’s resources effectively. Not lies slogans of handouts of rice/beans. Nigerians are frustrated with limited opportunities, which pushes Nigerians to migrate even when they would prefer to stay close to Nigeria. lf leaders love Nigeria and cares about Nigerian life`s
political competition and independent candidates can improve governance if they are serious and stop the killings now in 2026

Why Nigerians still migrate even in well‑governed countries, people travel for education, business, or adventure. But when migration becomes a necessity rather than a choice, it usually signals deeper systemic problems in Nigeria.
Nigeria can build a system where Nigerians thrive locally and migration becomes optional, not a survival strategy.
