Greetings to the Nigerian government, opposition parties, independent candidates on befall of concerned Nigerians we are
proposing a comprehensive security initiative: installing CCTV cameras across all 36 states and 774 local government areas in Nigeria to strengthen public safety, improve accountability, and support law‑enforcement operations.

A key concern with any large-scale deployment is ensuring the equipment is not stolen, tampered with, or mismanaged. To address this, here are practical safeguards that can be built into the project from the start:

Use tamper‑resistant, pole‑mounted or high‑elevation camera housings that cannot be easily accessed.

Implement remote monitoring so that each camera automatically reports outages, disconnections, or attempts to interfere with the device.

Store footage in secure cloud-based systems rather than on local hardware, reducing the incentive to steal physical equipment.

Assign independent oversight teams to audit camera uptime, maintenance logs, and footage access.

Use GPS‑tagged components and serialized inventory tracking to identify missing or relocated equipment.

Partner with community leaders to build local support, which often reduces vandalism and increases reporting of suspicious activity.

These steps can help ensure that the investment delivers long-term value and remains protected, even in environments where corruption or theft is a concern.

Thank you for considering this proposal.

Faithfully,
Concerned Nigerians
