What would need to change for another Nigerian company to succeed
A new Nigerian refinery project in 2026 would require:

Guaranteed crude supply from NNPC

Zero political interference

Transparent pricing rules

Protection from sabotage and oil theft

Access to long-term financing

A stable business environment

If these conditions improve, more Nigerian companies will enter the refining business.
