What this means for the 36 states and 774 LGAs
The NBS does not publish unemployment numbers broken down for each LGA, but the national figure 9.87 million unemployed is spread across all states and LGAs, with:

Higher unemployment in urban areas than rural areas.

Higher unemployment among women than men.

Extremely high unemployment among youth.
