May 1st every year comes with mixed feelings for me. As much as I wake up with a heart of gratitude for blessings and all, it is the day I lost my father.

It's been 44 years since my dad passed on. I still ask the 'what if' and imagine the 'if only'. But in all I am grateful for life and for my mum's strength who stepped in to fit his shoes and oh she wore it with grace and love 💕
