After renting one room self contain in Benin.
A tenant went ahead to fix POP and designed his apartment to his own taste.

At the expiration of his one year rent, Baba Landlord served him notice to quit.

Baba Landlord say, him wan use the apartment.

I asked him, did you seek for approval from the Landlord before fixing POP ?

He said No.

Well, at this point every landlord have the reserved right under the law to end your tenancy for one or two reasons best known to them.

Being Ready And Stable (BRAS): The guy was supposed to notify the landlord before fixing the the POP, though some w*caked landlords will deny you if there was no written document.
The landlord isn’t a good person ..
