South Africa must address the repeated xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other Africans—this pattern is unacceptable.
But let’s be clear: escalation won’t favour SA. It’s not just Nigeria—other African nations may respond. Thousands of South Africans live across the continent, and major SA companies like MTN and MultiChoice depend heavily on these markets.
This is reality. Respect, safety, and accountability must be mutual across Africa.
