Happy Workers’ Day ✊🏽

May 1st is more than a holiday , it is a day rooted in history and sacrifice.

In 1886, thousands of workers in Chicago, USA marched for fair wages, safer conditions, and an 8-hour workday. On May 4, 1886, the Haymarket protest turned tragic, and lives were lost.

Their courage sparked a global movement for workers’ rights, and in 1889, May 1st was officially recognized by many nations as International Workers’ Day.
