Why is there still no free 24/7 electricity, free wifi/data and Nigerians still paying for light bills for decades
Multiple investigations over the years point to three major reasons:

Decades of under‑investment in power plants, transmission lines, and distribution networks

Corruption and mismanagement in agencies responsible for electricity

Technical losses, vandalism, and poor maintenance

Nigeria generates far less power than its population needs, and much of what is generated never reaches homes.
