FG Seeks Deregistration of Five Political Parties.

The Federal Government has asked a court to compel Independent National Electoral Commission to deregister five parties, including African Democratic Congress and Accord Party.

The suit argues the parties failed to meet constitutional performance requirements. Filed at the Federal High Court, the case could reshape Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.
