On the left is the iconic ECOWAS HQ building in highbrow Asokoro and on the right is the new one along the Airport Rd, Abuja, built, fitted with hitech (or is it spy-tech) and gifted to ECOWAS leaders by China.
What's wrong with the current HQ building or its location?
Why accept a proposal by the Chinese govt to gift you the hq building of such a strategic body?
And the Chinese cheekily nicknamed it "The Eye of West Africa" but I know deep within China it's their "Eye Into West Africa".

Gyang Isaac: Well no matter what we say I know that they'll still accept and things will still move on, the Chinese are already in Nigeria getting the best of of our resources while we praise them like fools.....God help us.
Comfort Yako Asala: I will like to assume that a lot was traded and exchanged by just a few leaders at the detriment of the majority to build this gigantic edifice.
The suggested nickname "Eyes into Africa" truly depicts the intention of these developed countries towards us and I am sure that is the case here
