Why this matters for boko haram and other violence the idea isn’t just nice housing. It undercuts recruitment. Extremists feed on Nigerians who feel they have nothing to lose. A stable home, school for kids, and good income changes that calculation.
It shows the state is real in many places, people only see government when soldiers or police show up. Housing, water, and schools are a different kind of power—soft power that lasts forever
