Outside Nigeria hard-core asset recovery diplomacy.
A lot of stolen money is sitting in the UK, EU, US, UAE, and offshore centers like Jersey, Switzerland, etc. Nigeria needs standing task forces and permanent MoUs with these jurisdictions focused only on asset recovery, not ad‑hoc negotiations. We’re already seeing examples like the Jersey $9.5m return deals—those need to be multiplied and sped up.
