Domestic carriers say the cost of Jet A1 fuel has surged by over 300% in recent weeks, making it increasingly difficult to sustain flight operations. Prices have jumped from about ₦900 per litre earlier in the year to as high as ₦2,700–₦3,500, forcing airlines to spend millions on fuel per flight.
