The truth is that corrupt politicians play better Nigerian political games; they understand Nigerians more than most. They intimidate their opponents in other political parties to fall in line. They entice the hungry electorate with crumbs to vote for them. They settle their party members with juicy packages, including appointments and contracts. They ensure those who will not vote for them are scared enough not to come out to vote. INEC and the judiciary seem to work for the ruling party happily, so it is aluta continua! The pattern should end
