In the old world — what Foucault called the disciplinary society — power worked through prohibition. Factories. Prisons. Schools. Institutions that said You shall not.
Our world is different. It says Yes, you can. It's powered by motivation, positivity, hustle culture. The pressure isn't external anymore. It lives inside you.
