Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele dismissed claims that she ignored Fuji musician Wasiu Pasuma during actress Fathia Balogun’s birthday event, after a social media user shared an edited clip that went viral.

“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity pls. I saw him, greeted him, and danced with him. Pasuma is my egbon. Pls you all should stop this,” she wrote.

Further context from a longer video also contradicts the false claim. Akindele is seen warmly greeting Pasuma before greeting others.
