Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo sadly passed away today at the age of 40.

The Nigeria Football Federation, alongside Tunisian giants Espérance Sportive de Tunis and #SuperLig teams Beşiktaş, Sivasspor and Basaksehir have paid heartfelt tributes to their former player.

Eneramo earned 10 caps for the #SuperEagles. They shared: "Michael was part of our 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign" with a video of his unforgettable goal.

May Michael Eneramo rest in peace 🕊️❤️.
