It is very frustrating when some men use marriage as a tool to threaten women, as if a woman’s life or value depends on being married. Instead of intimidation, a husband should take responsibility for his mistakes. Those days when people believed a woman could not be valuable or fulfilled without marriage are long gone. Women have worth, dignity, and purpose beyond marital status. 🙄.

Like minds🫂: Inasmuch as marriage is a beautiful thing and the dream of most women, it shouldn't be a reason to be subjected or ridiculed into lowering your self esteem. A man who loves you will not put you through those tests.

AOJ: This is true for capable, independent women. It's however less so for the more vulnerable ones who face higher risks outside stable marriage.
