The Nigeria’s political sphere is aptly encapsulated in this Igbo adage:”mma nwere isi adighi nko,nke di nko enweghi isi.”Literally put:”The knife that has a head (handle) is not sharp,but the one that is sharp has no head”; a metaphor for the dilemma of having the IDEAL leaders,that lack the where-withal/political clout necessary to challenge the ruthless,unconventional (political crudity)&overturn the current power structure,that has plunged us into this cesspool of “ineffective leadership”!
