PWDs Are 15% of Nigeria’s Population, Yet We’re Erased By Language - Epelle

The Nigerian Constitution makes zero mention of disability. When PWDs aren’t named, it’s as if we don’t exist. 35 million Nigerians live with disabilities, but there’s still no official terminology that recognizes or includes us. That’s unfair and inequitable.
