JAMB policies are placing heavy financial and emotional burdens on families, especially the poor, who must travel long distances and spend large amounts just to sit for exams. The stress, safety risks, and tragic incidents—such as kidnappings and loss of life—show that the system is failing many Nigerians. There is an urgent need for government intervention to make the process safer, more accessible, and less stressful for students and their families.
