Why cooperation is so difficult in Nigerian politics
Politics is highly polarized and personality‑driven
Nigeria’s political system is often centered around individuals rather than strong institutions. Because of that:

Parties don’t always have clear ideological differences.

Politicians switch parties frequently because alliances are fluid.

Cooperation becomes difficult when loyalty is tied to personalities, not shared policy goals.
