Democracy implemented poorly, with elections failing to translate into accountabilit. Nigeria Often cited due to its massive influence in Africa, meaning its high levels of poverty, inequality, insecurity, and corruption act as a negative example for the continent. Once Nigeria gets it right Africa will get it right.
