It's sickening how waking up to news on terrorism, banditry, kidnapping for ransom and the wholesale k!ll!ng of everyday Nigerians has become our new normal. The authorities have left victims to deal with problems of insecurity themselves because, obviously, it is not as important as 2027 general elections.
