UNN is a federal university, so funding comes mainly from:

Federal Government

TETFund

University IGR

But UNN has

Very old hostels

Very high student population

Limited renovation history

Slow maintenance culture

This is why hostels like Eni Njoku and Alvan Ikoku are in such poor condition.

The real answer it’s not one person it’s a system problem
The money is

Not enough

Delayed

Mismanaged

Spread too thin

Eaten by bureaucracy
