Roads are one of Taraba’s biggest challenges.

The state is in dire need of basic infrastructure, including roads.

Even Jalingo, the capital, lacks adequate township roads.

The governor declared a state of emergency on infrastructure in 2025 to accelerate road construction.

A major road program was launched in late 2025, but results are still developing.
