So the suspension means:
MTN is temporarily stopping airtime/data borrowing

They’re updating the service to meet new regulatory requirements

It’s not a permanent shutdown

Regular airtime and data purchase still work normally

Why regulators care
Nigeria has been tightening oversight on lending services to:

Prevent hidden fees

Ensure transparency

Protect consumers from predatory lending practices

Xtratime falls under that umbrella. Respectfully internet wifi/data must be free
