Why does this affect Xtratime?
Xtratime is basically a micro‑loan service:

You borrow airtime or data now

MTN deducts it later with a fee

Because it functions like a small loan, the FCCPC’s updated digital‑lending rules now apply to it. MTN must adjust the service to comply with those rules before it can continue offering it.
