Why reforms didn’t happen before 2023
Reforms like electing INEC chair, security chiefs, or restructuring the system would require:

constitutional amendments

National Assembly approval

political consensus

Those changes take years and did not happen before the 2023 election cycle.

The deeper issue
Nigerians want transparency, safety, and a system they can trust. The Nigerian system have been corrupt for decades if this is not fixed now the same problem will happen in 2027
