Distribution companies (DisCos) are financially weak
DisCos often cannot:

Buy enough power

Maintain equipment

Invest in new infrastructure

Why? because many consumers don’t pay, and tariffs are politically controlled.
If a company sells electricity below cost, it cannot improve service. Nigeria is rich in oil and gas electricity must be free in all the 36 states 774 LGA for decades Nigerians are paying light bills and no light this is unacceptable and we demand better
