It's clear that Nigeria is grappling with insurgents determined to harm its citizens. Yet, the real issue lies with us—both the people and the government. We seem to underestimate the severity of the situation, continuing with our lives as if nothing is amiss. The saying 'you don’t recognize a problem until it affects you personally' rings especially true in this context.
