The Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) has dismissed as false and misleading reports circulating on social media alleging that it directed Muslims to embark on prayers for the removal of the Chairman of INEC, Prof Joash Amupitan.

Danny Angbashim: But they started the strident campaign for his removal long before now. So I doubt if its members still need any further promptings to pray for his removal.
