The statement is true. Multiple reputable Nigerian news outlets reported that Elon Musk’s tweet describing the cybertruck as an APC from the future was widely misinterpreted in Nigeria. Many Nigerians assumed he meant the political party APC, rather than an Armoured Personnel Carrier, which is what he intended.
