Security situation in Osun state Osun state is not considered a boko haram–affected state.
boko haram activity has historically been concentrated in the northeast Borno, Yobe, Adamawa. States in the southwest, including Osun, have not been listed among areas with active boko haram operations.

Osun, like many states, may face issues such as local crime or cult-related incidents, but not boko haram insurgency.
