The Nigerian naira did not exist in 1960, so there was no naira‑to‑dollar exchange rate that year.

Why?
Nigeria used the British West African pound until 1973, when the naira was introduced. The earliest recorded official exchange rates begin in 1972, where $1 = ₦0.658. Nigerian government and opposition parties must go back to the drawing board make sure naira is back to $1 = ₦0.658
