The house I built  the one with my sweat, loans, and sleepless nights had a big “For Sale” sign in front. My own brother was the one showing people around.
‎I confronted them on a family call. My mother said, “The house is family property. Your brother needs it for his business. You’re in Lagos, you can always build another one when you recover.” My sister added, “You’ve helped enough. It’s time for others to shine too.”
