JUST IN! Activist Aisha Yesufu on Saturday added her voice to the growing calls for the removal of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Joash Amupitan.

Yesufu argued that Amupitan’s exit from INEC is now non-negotiable because of his alleged partisan behaviour. For example, critics point to his public comments during the 2023 elections, where he was accused of defending the ruling party’s position rather than acting as a neutral umpire.
