Nigerians are calling for the resignation of INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan, over claims that he is a Tinubu/APC puppet rather than an impartial electoral umpire, following the resurfacing of old tweets in which he allegedly showed support for the APC and President Bola Tinubu.

Some of the posts include phrases such as “Victory is sure for APC” and “Obidients are evil,” which were said to have been tweeted in March 2023.
