I often wonder why people would follow you on a social media app but you, in your ALMIGHTINESS, will not follow back. Why?

I tried to follow a user today but got pissed off when I saw the stat below. Why do we always feel too much of ourselves when it comes to followership on social media apps that your father did not create.
