The gas powered generators roared and came on again. I only noticed them because they had gone off momentarily after running non stop for weeks. It made me wonder how thoroughly we have mastered the laws that make all these possible. Science and technology is not a proof of our supremacy over nature but rather, our discovery and thorough obedience to its laws.
