From a societal perspective, people tend to frame it as loyalty or “repayment,” which is why opinions get loud, some see it as right, others as unnecessary.

People will always project their expectations, some will say she owes him, others will question her choice. But at the end of the day, you’re the one who has to live with your decisions, not the crowd. Their approval doesn’t build your life or sustain your happiness. Congratulations to them. 😊

Chibuzo Onyia: You're quite right. Choosing who to love and to marry is a very personal and financial choice and shouldn't have anything to do with the perceived reality of what's acceptable according to public opinion or society. Congrats to them.
