When a child refuses certain foods must the mother be blamed?
A parent once shared her concern with me about her child refusing some solid foods not all, just certain ones despite all her efforts.
She had tried different approaches, yet the child still wouldn’t eat those foods.
She went on to say how people quickly concluded that it was her fault, that she didn’t introduce solids early enough.

So let’s be honest:
Is it always the mother’s fault?
Or are some children just naturally selective
