History is in the making! 🚀🌕

Today, the crew of Artemis II will travel around the far side of the Moon, going farther from Earth than any humans ever have—breaking the distance record set by Apollo 13.

As they make their loop around the Moon, the astronauts will observe and photograph regions of the lunar surface never directly seen by human eyes. At the closest point, Orion will fly roughly 4,070 miles above the surface.
