A landlord in Lagos Island has allegedly collected rent from up to 50 people for a single room, sparking outrage and renewed concerns about rental scams in Nigeria.
According to reports circulating on social media, the landlord allegedly leased the same apartment to as many as 50 different tenants, each believing they had secured the space.
