Four Nigerian songs were nominated for ”Best African Song” at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, event known as "#Ghana’s biggest night in music". Nigerian artists took four of the six nomination spots.

Davido leads this year’s entries with two nominations: “With You” ft. Omah Lay and “Nakupenda,” a collaboration with TxC, Shoday & Scotts Maphuma feat. Zlatan & Al Xapo

Rema’s “Kelebu”, Fido’s “Joy Is Coming” and “Laho II” by Shallipopi and Burna Boy were nominated too.
