Going through your responses from yesterday's poll, one thing stood out. Literature is not confined to a single purpose. Perhaps that's what true literature is about. It does not insist on one meaning or one function.

What one person reads as resistance, another may read as comfort. What feels like truth to one may feel like fiction to another. And yet, both experiences are valid.

This is what makes a literary mind so unique. It does not just consume words, it negotiates meaning.
