The Lagos State Government has announced temporary road closures across key areas, including Ikeja, Ojota, Ajegunle, and Victoria Island, ahead of infrastructure project inaugurations on April 8–9, 2026.

In a travel advisory, the Ministry of Transportation said the restrictions are to ensure safety and smooth movement during the events, urging motorists to use alternative routes to avoid disruptions.
